Tree House

Sorry for not being on here much..... between being a mom,wife,ect I haven't had much time.

Now that spring is here I would like to get my flower beds ready,but first thing is we have to finish this tree house!

Tea Wallet With Paper Bead Charm

Since the cooler weather has decided to stay for a while, I've gone through a lot of coffee.
Now, don't get me wrong I love coffee but sometimes tea is a nice treat! 
Last month I discovered Bigalow tea ( vanilla chai )  LOVE IT!!! While on their website I saw they carried a "tea wallet".  I looked at it & thought I could make one.
While doing a google search I found a lady who has a wonderful free pattern . http://blog.christyscreations.com/tea-wallet-tutorial/

Very easy to make, lot of fun too!  I added a paper bead charm on the button.

There is enough room for 4 tea bags and sweetner too.

Popcorn Popcorn (The Bear)

My wonderful son who is in 1st grade had art class last week, & the assignment was to paint a bear.

Anyone who has a child knows when homework,classwork,artwork... is sent home its cramed into their bookbags.  Lets just say popcorn had a few winkles.  I loved it so much I decided to put it on a canvas that I had in my craft room.  A little black paint, modpodge, and LOVE ..... We have a new painting for the house.  total cost around $4.00 for the Canvas. (cheaper than a frame and mat since the painting is large)  I think it going to look good hanging in his bathroom!

Holidays and New Years

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years.  I know we had one.

Pinwheel Pillow

Going through my scrap fabric, I decided to make a pillow!

My grandmother made one that I loved as a child so I decided to give it a try.

It could use a little more stuffing but that all I had.

Blue Jean Quilt
