Pinwheel Pillow

Going through my scrap fabric, I decided to make a pillow!

My grandmother made one that I loved as a child so I decided to give it a try.
This is the front
and here is the back

It could use a little more stuffing but that all I had.

Thrift Store Finds

This was the 1st thing I bought for my craft room:

This table may look rough, but its wonderful!! For the price of $10.00 you can't beat that!!
It has a metal porcelain top & it even has a drawer.  Its from the 1950's & oak base.
I left the orignal black paint & sanded off some of the rust spots on the top then sprayed a clear coat on it.

Thrift Store Finds

I love going to tag sales and thrift stores.  Living in Fl. we have alot of them so, I try to go often.

Here are 2 of my newest finds: this is a carry on luggage bag that I got for $1! Mint condition and

this mint tray for .25 The handle was ugly so I painted a deep red color.  I think it works well for holding my paper beads.

Why Blog?

My loving hubby wanted to know WHY????   Hmmmm....
Lets see, I love to make things and some of my other crazy friends like to see pics of things I do
